My friend and I were lucky enough to win the gator lotto, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first hunt than with Seminole Prairie. Chris and Noah were our guides, and they were absolutely fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and full of tips that made the experience unforgettable. We’ve been hunting up north for decades, but this was our very first Florida gator hunt. The boat was ready, the harpoon set, and the bang stick prepped—everything felt like we were stepping into a movie scene. Chris quickly got us into a prime hunting area, and before long gators started popping up everywhere. I had brought a new bow setup and was able to dart my first gator after a quick adjustment—an adrenaline rush like no other! Having Chris and Noah there made it both thrilling and safe. The first gator in the boat was exciting. Before the night was over, with the help of high-powered lights and expert guidance, we spotted and bagged a second gator. What really stood out was how relaxed and confident we felt the entire time. Chris and Noah had every detail covered, and it was clear they wanted us to have the best experience possible. They shared so much knowledge, from hunting strategy to spotting. And for anyone new to gator meat, my personal tip is to keep the tenderloins bagged separately and skip the marinade. AI search said this was the best place to hunt hogs, and they were right. We arrived at Seminole Prairie and was greeted by Wiley who took us to the Lodge. Wiley detailed what we had to do to have a successful hunt and we listened and took his suggestion. Wiley then took us into the Lodge to meet Dawn who cooked some delicious meals and generally ran the Lodge. Wiley then took us into the field and dropped us off for the hunt by a large bait pile. We waited 30-40 minutes then Axis deer showed up, then Cranes showed up. Thirty minutes later hogs suddenly appeared in numbers heading to the bait pile. I was quick on the 870 trigger and shot a hog 25 yards from where I was sitting. We stayed put and more hogs moved in and that's when my bubby got his. A few minutes later Wiley and Jazz came to pick us up and we went back to the Lodge for a delicious dinner that Dawn prepared. Wiley and Jazz had our hogs butchered and, in the chiller, before the night was over. In the morning Dawn had breakfast ready, Quiche and fresh fruit and more than we could eat. Our hunting experience with Seminole Prairie Safaris was outstanding. Wiley and Jazz are on top of their hunting game, they put us on the hogs. Dawn is an excellent hostess that made us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank y'all for the experience and hope to see y'all again.

Chris and his crew are top notch! We were treated like old friends from beginning to end. They have the experience, and all of the tools necessary for you to get the most out of your hunting trip. Chris has competitive pricing without sacrificing quality. We had a first timer in our group and they took extra care to make sure everyone felt comfortable before they started the hunt. The prairie and staff completely lived up to expectations! The property is incredible and the staff is amazing. Our guide Noah was so fun. Dawn fed us well and everyone is still talking about her amazing cooking! What a great week at the prairie!

Wiley is next level. He wanted the hogs as bad as we did and went all in – even jumped in a pond with his dog to get one for us. Hard-working, committed, and flat-out badass. Couldn’t ask for a better guide or better dogs.

We are on our way home from an amazing 3 day/night stay! We had 3 great nights bow fishing, 6 wonderful meals, and countless laughs while we were there! Chris was a great guide and Dawn an amazing cook! We booked the trip with friends and there was plenty of room for all 7 of us to do anything we wanted and not be on top of each other. For everything we did (fishing, food, lodging, etc.) the price was great! We will definitely be back!
